Podere Valserena

Podere Valserena

Our restaurant

Come and savor the authentic taste of our typical Tuscan cuisine

Our story..

Our farm was born with the La Valserena Pizzeria Restaurant in 1986, the beating heart of the entire structure.

The owners of the estate, my uncles Rino, Roberto and my mother Ira, work with dedication at the restaurant to offer our guests the best regional recipes of classic Tuscan cuisine. Here the homemade dishes range from appetizers to desserts.

Gabriele and Leandro are precious guides for the customers in the dining room. Ask them for advice on the combinations to follow or the ideal proposal for you.

We mostly employ local items supplied by local businesses, like Pecorini di Pienza, Chianina, Cinta Senese, Scottona, Pici, and Aglione della Valdichiana.

Our family has carefully chosen notable brands and wines to explore in order to delight and excite both beginners and the most discerning palates: Chianti Classici, Rossi di Bolgheri, Nobili di Montepulciano, Brunelli di Montalcino, and the most famous Morellini di Scansano and Montecucchi.

What do our guests say about us?
We inquire for recommendations for dinner tonight and are directed to the Valserena restaurant. What else can I say? It was wonderful! Everything is going well! Pici cacio e pepe, pici Cinta Senese, tagliatelle with meat sauce, mixed grill, tiramisu, and homemade cantucci. Service was quick, and the personnel was quite polite. I strongly suggest. Top!

Valserena has always been a dead certainty. Residents of the Crete Senesi are well aware of this. It's exactly where you want to be when you visit these locations. Local, traditional, delicious, and inexpensive cuisine. From pici all'aglione or cinta with porcini mushrooms to all grilled meats. Even when it's full, it's quick and pleasant. Well done!
